This is my Piri Piri plant, finally sprouting out of the soil!

Here is one of my favorite subjects after one of his favorite activities.

This is a photo of a gift that we gave out to several of our neighbors this year. We made the jam from plums on our own plum tree. Sarah then decorated it using paper and punches sold by Stampin' Up!
I'd like to hear some comments on the photo. I'm new to product photography and would like to hear some honest critique.

I'm a little slow posting my photos from the latest photowalk. I've got some mixed feelings about this batch of photos. I think they are good, but nothing stands out as great. I'm thinking they are all a bit on the dark side and after some reading tonight, I think I need to go back when there is still some light left.
I'd love to hear your comments.

I know it doesn't look like much, but this is the resting place of my Piri Piri seed for now.

I recently purchased some Piri Piri seeds from South Africa. In English, that's an African Devil pepper. I ate them quite a bit in Portugal. They are quite spicy.
I wanted to grow one, so I thought I'd blog the whole thing. This is Day 0. The seed in focus is the one that hit the dirt.

Most of my photos seem to be centered around food lately. Here's another delicious pie from Thanksgiving.

I love this pie. My wife is an amazing cook. This is from Thanksgiving dinner. (I'm getting behind!)
